Using an Ice Stamp to create your own Branded Cocktails

If you're reading this, chances are you've been to a bar where they served you a drink with their logo in it and you're wondering how on earth it got there. Well, most likely it was made using one of our Ice Stamps

The entire process takes only a few seconds to complete. If you watch the clip below you will notice that no additional equipment is required and there is no need to heat the stamp beforehand. The trick to creating your own branded cocktails is to simply press the stamp into the ice and let nature take its course.

At this point you may be wondering if any type of brass stamp will work, and the answer is yes. However, if you want the impression to last more than a couple of seconds before melting then you will need a little help from the specialists.

Creating a lasting impression

While it may be possible to create an impression using a standard Wax Seal Stamp, you're going to need something with considerably more weight to it if you want the impression to last. The major difference with our Deluxe Ice Stamps is that we use a much deeper level of engraving, at least 3-4 times the depth of any regular stamp. We have what we like to call the 'SUPER mega deep' option, which requires 6 individual engraving passes and almost an hour each to complete (hence the additional premium).

The actual stamp head is crafted from a 1/2 inch thick, solid piece of lead-free brass and is hefty enough that when placed on top of the ice (as shown below) it will press down without you even having to lift a finger!

Is it worth the preparation and effort?

In our opinion this magnificent work of art epitomises 'attention to detail'. You may wonder what's the point if it's just going to melt anyway, and that is exactly the point. It's the smallest of details that can create the biggest impact on your guests, no matter how pretentious it may seem to those outside of your circle. A sincere effort to make a genuine impression will never go unnoticed, and we believe that the photos speak for themselves.

Our ice stamps are the perfect addition to an existing set of barware tools, whether it be a gift for an aspiring mixologist or bartending pro. If you'd like to make one using your own logo simply click the link below, upload your design and we will get to work engraving your very own custom branded ice stamp.

My ice stamp for In Mark’s Kitchen is awesome! I believe that every detail matters and when I am entertaining and serving fabulous drinks with beautiful clear ice cubes nothing say’s I care like a cube with my logo pressed into it. Thank you for creating this fantastic stamp for me!

Hi Lily, for home use I have made my own ice, but there are two fabulous products I would suggest. One is a product by On The Rocks found at (www.clearice.rocks ; also found on amazon). For about $65 you can obtain a six cube mold that will create crystal clear ice every time. I use it at the bars I work with and it’s a great product. Another item is from a company called Wintersmiths (wintersmiths.com)—they have a variety of products that are great (I own the Ice Chest and Phantom Ice Maker). These are a tad more money but their ice spheres are bar none. Hope this helps! Cheers!

(reply to Lily’s comment below) Clear ice is a delicate balance of the correct temperature combined with the use of a quality water source. To get the best out of your new stamp we would recommend purchasing some ice cubes from an accredited clear ice supplier.

Hi, I just ordered the ice stamp for my husband birthday,. I would like to know how I can make the ice as clear as you showed in the video. Thanks

(reply to Tori’s comment below) Clear ice is far superior in terms of both appearance and purity however it is certainly not a necessity. It will work just as effectively on regular ice from your fridge freezer.

Hello. Question, does the ice cube have to be a clear ice cube in order for the impression to work? Will I realize it’s probably better but is it necessary
