Yes. We send a proof for all custom-made items before production to ensure you are happy with the outcome. Orders that have not been approved will not be processed, and we will send a number of follow-up reminders before placing them on hold.
No need to flip your artwork. We engrave directly from your file, so the stamped impression will appear correctly. We send proofs for approval to ensure you are happy with the outcome before engraving.
We are happy to update your proof until you are satisfied with it. Please bear in mind that this will affect the total processing time, as production does not begin until all artwork has been approved.
Revisions are limited to minor adjustments and do not include significant logo reworking or broader design improvements.
We do offer a conversion service for low-resolution artwork files, and this will be offered to you during the approval process if required.

Yes, we offer optional handle engraving for an additional $5. We also offer laser engraving on the base of our ice embossers for added brand exposure.

Our products are crafted from premium materials. For example, our wax seal stamps are made from solid brass with a mirror finish and coated with an ultra-fine ceramic layer while our ice stamps use lead-free brass. All our stamps handles use either FSC-certified wood or aluminum.
Wax Seal Questions
A good standard size is 25mm (1 inch). It is possible to go slightly smaller or slightly larger, but we generally would not recommend going more than ±5mm (0.25 inch) in either direction.
If your stamp diameter is 25mm (1 inch), your finished wax seal will typically measure around 30mm (1.25 inch) once pressed, including the outer edge.
Unless you opt for our Premium Gift Set (which contains everything you need to get started), we recommend purchasing either our Melting Kit or Glue Gun Kit alongside your custom stamp.
To create a wax seal, you need both sealing wax and a way to melt it. Once you have those, all that’s left is to stamp your design into the wax.
Yes, and honestly this comes down to personal preference. If you have a large number of invitations and limited time, pre-made seals can be the more practical choice, as you can simply peel and stick them.
However, if time is not an issue, we always recommend stamping them yourself. Wax sealing is an incredibly therapeutic and rewarding analogue experience, best enjoyed in a quiet setting. If you’ve tried it before (sadly, most people haven’t) you’ll know exactly what we mean.
This is a very common question, and a valid concern. The ancient art of wax sealing was not designed with modern mailing facilities in mind. With that said, we recommend either using a courier service or placing the sealed envelope inside an outer mailer for added protection.
Embosser Questions
A paper embosser is a device made up of two opposing dies. One features the male version of the design, and the other the female version, allowing the two to press together through the paper and create a raised, embossed impression.
Our embossers use solid brass dies for durability and precision. Some brands use plastic or resin dies instead, but these are generally less durable than brass.
Yes. Regular handheld embossers typically work best on paper up to 120gsm, which is standard office copy paper. However, our Desk Embossers are designed for use on a fixed surface and can emboss paper stocks up to around 250–300gsm, depending on the artwork.
Simpler artwork will generally produce better results on thicker paper. Designs with too much fine detail can affect the embossing quality, and if needed we’ll advise you on this during the proof approval process.
As well as different paper weights, the embosser also works on a variety of stocks including but not limited to - Labels, textured papers, laminated and coated stock.
It will not work on plastic, sheet metal or other non-fibrous materials.
Yes, we offer replacement dies for multi-logo use. Please select the appropriate positioning (top or bottom) when ordering.
Ice Stamp Questions
If you want your logo to appear on the top of your drink, an ice stamp is the way to go.
Our original ice stamps are made from a solid billet of lead-free brass, which gives them excellent thermal properties. Once your clear ice is ready, simply press the stamp into the surface and watch it gently melt its way, leaving your design behind.
There’s no trick and no special heating process required, just pure science. Don’t believe us? Try it for yourself and tell us the result.
No, our ice stamps work perfectly at room temperature due to the excellent heat-conducting properties of solid brass. Simply press onto the ice and enjoy.
Absolutely, without question! An ice stamp is the perfect attention grabber at bars and events. For more formal or commercial settings our Ice Embosser performs best, since it is a tabletop variant which features a built-in drip tray and can be operated hands-free.
Rubber Stamp Questions
This is one of our favourite questions, because the answer is often surprisingly broad and somewhat amusing.
The short answer is, almost anything.
We’ve personally tested our rubber stamps on everything from paper (yawn), to walls (sorry, parents...), to even foreheads. We wouldn’t recommend those last two unless you’re using a water-based or skin-safe ink, but who are we to tell you what not to do with your stamp?
Honestly, the excitement of getting a new logo is very real, so we can’t blame you for wanting to stamp it on everything in sight.
Within reason, of course.
No. Our rubber stamps do not come with ink.
Stamps that include built-in ink are more commonly known as self-inking stamps, and they’re typically limited to the ink colour they come preloaded with. A traditional rubber stamp is simply the stamp itself, so you’ll need a separate ink pad to press it into between each impression.
Trust us, it’s much more fun this way.
